“Can we just make it again?” It sounds like the easiest request in apparel.

The truth is that a reorder is not a copy and paste. It is a brand-new production run, and three things can change along the way. The fabric lot may be different. The dye color may shift. The factory may not have the same capacity.

If you plan your reorder during your first order, your best-sellers have a much better chance of staying best-sellers.

A meeting of the minds.

Bret and Emily recently attended See Change Sessions (See Change Sessions), a think tank bringing together scientists, innovators, educators, legislators, and industry leaders to collaborate on solutions to sustainability challenges.

Rather than a traditional conference, See Change was built around interactive discussions, group projects, and working sessions exploring topics like packaging, energy, and fiber solutions.

Add in the music, creative atmosphere, and beautiful setting overlooking Lake Champlain, and it made for an inspiring few days of connection, collaboration, and new ideas.

That’s jacquard: a fabric where the pattern is built into the cloth itself, thread by thread. The result is rich texture, real dimension, and a design that looks just as good on the reverse side.

Fabric, trims, CMT, finishing, packaging, development, testing, freight, and other costs can all affect the number you’re seeing.

The goal isn’t simply to find the lowest quote. It’s to understand what you’re paying for and why.
