Potion23 is the cultivation of white magic distilled into it’s purest form to create unique embroideries. Every single piece is created entirely by hand from conception to completion. As a Reiki master, each piece she creates is anointed with universal energy delivered through her hands as she works. Victoria received her degree in Fashion Design at the Beverly Hills Design Institute, with a conce

ntration in couture techniques. She also received a certificate in Haute Couture Embroidery from Hand & Lock of London. She has shown her work in New York, Los Angeles and Boston galleries, and presented a collection of hand-beaded swimwear in Miami for Mercedes Benz Swim week.

Did you know that all of life is cosplay? In fact, we humans weren’t even designed to wear clothes at all! If we did, then we’d be completely covered in some sort of fur or a shell, but alas, we’ve chosen to drape ourselves in cloth made from plants and animal or industrial byproducts.

Since society told us we need to wear clothes when we head into public (or we’re in big trouble 👮‍♂️) we’ve used fashion as a way to dictate what we’re “allowed” or “not allowed” to wear. Because of this rigid framework we’ve lived by for so long, we decided collectively what’s considered “normal” to wear and what isn’t, when in fact by nature wearing clothing is an incredibly weird concept! Why not create and abide by your own form of weirdness because that’s wearing clothes truly is?!

Anyway, just added these three new weird hats to the shop. In fact, hats are probably one of the least strange things for us humans to wear because they provide protection from UV rays and keep us warm or cool. Well, that happens to be what these hats do best, so why not invest in one of the only weird pieces of clothing that you’ll probably ever need?
