My friend TK sent me this image last night. He was in town from Japan and had Dave and I sign the first hold we ever made. I made it in my parent’s basement. I wrapped aluminum foil around an old voodoo hold I had on my home wall. Sprayed Pam cooking spray in it from the kitchen as mold release and then sprinkled playground sand on it for texture. Mixed and filled the foil with bondo and let it harden. Walah. So iLL was born. It was all good until I washed it in my mom’s dishwasher and the sand came off and ruined the motor. Still owe her money for that. We are gearing up for the final edit on the brand Documentay. It’s with the supervising editor now Lucas J. Harger and going to // ZAYDE WØLF // next for composing the music. Then full sound package. Color. Mix. And then a world tour in climbing gyms. It’s been a 4 year project. It’s brought a lot of laughs and tears and I can’t wait to share our real story with the world.
