The End Of An Era (Mostly)...
We opened Bespoke's doors to the public in November of 2014 with a few introductory pieces and a promise. Over the last six-plus years we've added dozens of new styles and 100s of new fabrics. We've helped you through weddings, yours and your children's, dressed you for galas, and prepped you for that new job.
As rewarding as Bespoke has been, it's still a small business that needs constant care and feeding to be healthy. While the pandemic has killed lots of businesses, big and small, that's not exactly what's happened here. Rather, the pandemic has forced us to take a time-out, giving us the opportunity to stop and really think about what we want from this next stage in our lives.
The next step in our journey? Working less. Much, much less. While we're not quite ready for full-on retirement, we're going to pare back substantially. Our focus for Bespoke going forward will be on three areas.
First, we'll continue to make masks until people don't want them (orderable at https://bespokesaintlouis.square.site). Second, we'll continue to make custom fit corsets. Why these two things and nothing else? Because, frankly, they're the easiest things we do. They're low impact and keep our hands just busy enough.
