One of the most memorable visual elements of Titanic is its breathtaking evening wear.

In 1777, Independence Day celebrations featured waistcoats, breeches, gowns, petticoats, stockings, and powdered wigs. Fashion has changed dramatically, but clothing still helps tell the story of who we are and where we've been.
