😂 We Had a Time Last Night 😂

Listen… Honey and Pop Pop were on full babysitting duty last night, and BABY… we had a TIME LAST NIGHT🤣💛

I still can’t decide who was more worn out—me, Pop Pop, or our little Granddoll! 😂

We sang “The Wheels on the Bus” so many times I think I’m still hearing those wipers go swish, swish, swish! 🚍 Then we switched over to “Old MacDonald Had a Farm,” and by the end of the night, we knew every animal on that farm! 🐄🐷🐥

As if that wasn’t enough, we headed to Walmart… where we spent over an hour in the toy aisle! 🤦🏽‍♀️ We looked at every toy, pushed every button, and inspected just about everything on the shelves. I was ready to leave… but somebody wasn’t! 😂

By the time we made it to our hotel, Honey and Pop Pop were officially clocking out! We were exhausted, but our hearts were so full.

These are the moments we’ll laugh about for years to come. The sleepless nights, the endless songs, the toy aisle adventures… they’re all part of the beautiful blessing of being grandparents.

I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. ❤️

Now if anyone needs us today… we’ll be somewhere recovering! 🤣💤

Today my heart is so full. ❤️

I traveled almost three hours to Ripley, Tennessee to watch my son Gabe Minister in Music, and all I could do was thank God. This has been his dream since he was a little boy, watching and admiring his Papaw and Uncle Kelly play. To witness God bringing that dream to life right before my eyes… that’s nothing but the goodness of God.

But then I looked over and saw my 16-year-old baby girl,Kennedy, with her hands lifted and completely surrendered to God… WHEW!!! 😭🙌🏾 What a day. What an experience. Moments like these remind me that God is faithful to every promise.

If you’re a parent praying for your child, don’t stop praying. God hears every prayer, even the ones you think are going unanswered.

I remember when Gabe was only 12 years old. Someone laughed at him in church because of his playing. He ran out of the church in tears and wanted to quit. As a mama, it broke my heart. But I knew God had a plan and a purpose for his life. Today I watched that purpose unfolding before my eyes.

Parents, don’t give up on your children. Give them over to God and watch Him move on their behalf. God can take every tear, every disappointment, and every setback and turn it into a testimony.

This is only the beginning. I know God has EVEN GREATER in store!

The preacher said today, “My next season will be greater than this season.” And I believe that with everything in me!

Glory to God! 🙌🏾❤️

50 & Fabulous… and feeling so loved! 💕✨

One thing about turning 50 is realizing that life’s greatest blessings aren’t things—they’re the people God places in your life.

Today, my son Gabe, aka Bishop, treated me to a wonderful dinner in Starkville, Mississippi, and my mama heart is overflowing with gratitude. ❤️ Thank you for the delicious meal, the laughs, the conversations, and for making me feel so special.

Watching you grow into the incredible man of God you are today has been one of my greatest joys. I’m beyond proud to call you my son. Thank you for reminding me that I’m still celebrated, still cherished, and yes… 50 & Fabulous! 🎉

God has been so faithful, and I’m soaking up every moment of this beautiful new chapter.
