Today I looked down at my desk here at uptown and was surprised to see all 3 businesses together for a chance …There’s a lot behind this picture that most people don’t see, you may only see a girl who doesn’t respond to most of her DMs or messages, I feel so bad y’all! But you have to understand this…
Three businesses. One person. One laptop, two cameras, a 2,800sq ft building with a million things to do, and somehow I keep showing up every single day because after 6 years I finally see it starting to pay off more and more each month working Monday to Saturday isn’t ideal but somehow it’s what I need to continue building what God started 🤍
My photography business.
My coffee business.
My luxury consignment business.
Some days I’m behind the camera. Some days I’m making drinks. Some days I’m pricing clothes, answering messages, doing paperwork, cleaning, planning, creating, and trying to figure out what needs to happen next. And honestly, I’ve had to miss things. I’ve said no to plans. I’ve worked when everyone else was resting. I’ve spent nights catching up on things that nobody will ever see. There are moments when I wish I could just slow down and be present for everything.
But I also know that these are the things I prayed for.
I’m building something that is mine. Something I can look back on one day and say, God really did that.
It isn’t always glamorous, so much stress and not ever taking care of me, But I keep showing up For the girl who dreamed about owning her own businesses just like her parents. For the future I’m working toward, to be able to have an income while teaching and raising kids for Him 🤎
And for the life I know is worth all the sacrifice.
Three businesses. One girl. And a whole lot of faith and coffee lol I’m tired sometimes, but I’m incredibly grateful!
