Let's talk about slime😳

Slime is one of those things kids absolutely LOVE — and honestly, there are so many great benefits to sensory play. Slime helps children build foundational STEM skills like chemistry, measurement, and cause-and-effect while also strengthening fine motor skills, encouraging creativity, and providing calming sensory input. Stretching, squishing, rolling, and mixing slime can help improve focus, reduce stress, and strengthen little hand muscles.

But let’s be real for a second… slime can also be a total disaster. 😅
Sticky. Stringy. In the carpet. On the couch. Somehow in their HAIR.

True story — a few weeks ago my little granddaughter Audrey picked out a slime with the toy money I gave her. It looked so attractive with the bright colors and cute packaging, and she was SO excited. But within literally two minutes of opening it, the slime was tangled in her hair, stuck to her clothes, smeared across the table, and stringing from her hands. She hated the feeling of it, and honestly… I did too. 😂 We cleaned her up, sealed the container, and put it away for good.

That sent me on a mission to find a better option for our store — something kids would still love, but moms wouldn’t regret buying five minutes later. We tested several different kinds, and I’m excited to say we finally found one we LOVE!
