Today, I had the honor of branding a beautiful handmade pine casket for a local celebrity here in Vernon County. Thank you to Popp Funeral and Cremation Services and Tim’s loved ones. It was not only a first for us, it was truly an honor.

One-of-a-kind details help make moments honoring people in their own unique and special way. A HUGE thank you to Jancyn Lepke from Moon Child Collective in Stoddard for adding some western branding to a cowboy's casket for his service. It's those individual touches that take the ordinary to extraordinary for families.

For those of you who don't know the story, "Moon Child" came from my time working in the cafe at Organic Valley HQ in Lafarge, WI. When I first started at OV, our courier, Mickey, came in to introduce himself and get to know the new gal in the Cafe. He asked me when my birthday was- July 19th- and said "why you're a Moon Child!" Mickey would come into the cafe everyday and say "What's up MOON CHILD?!" And so it stuck. :)
