We have brought our prom closet to the Y and have HUNDREDS of dresses available! We would love to help you find the perfect gown. Come see us tonight through Saturday!!

Saturday: 10a-2p

We are two sisters, Erin and Mandy, and our mom Jennifer, who graciously hosts My Sister's Closet in a guest bedroom of her home near Stroh/Helmer, Indiana.

We maintain a lending library of formal and semi-formal wear, with sizes and styles appropriate for ladies of all ages, and for a variety of events.

How it works:
Contact us to make an appointment to try on dresses. When you find something you love, you'll take it home! Return the dress after your event. That's it!

If you are able, financial donations are much appreciated. They help us keep the dresses clean and repaired, and keep us stocked in hangers and dress bags. Suggested donation is $5-$10 per dress. Donations of dresses, shoes, and accessories are also welcomed!

Message us to make an appointment. We look forward to helping you find the perfect dress for your next occasion. After all, what's more fun than raiding your sister's closet? 😉

My Sister’s Closet is bringing a prom closet to the YMCA of Steuben County at the end of March!

If you have dresses you’d like to donate, the Y is collecting them for us, or contact us directly and we’ll coordinate a time to meet up.

If you are planning on attending prom, come see us! If you can’t make it to the Y, we’re happy to set up a time for you to come to our place. Come see what we have before you buy. After all, what’s more fun than raiding your sister’s closet. 😘

Last year the YMCA of Steuben County hosted us so we could put on a prom closet. Thanks to our mom's brilliant packing ingenuity we loaded up hundreds of dresses, along with rolling racks, mirrors, and room dividers, and set up shop at the Y. We had a lot of fun helping so many gals find a perfect prom dress. 💃

As for this year...
We have made it through winter semi-formals, loads of dresses are out for Night to Shine this past weekend, and we're gearing up for prom season! That means that another prom closet is just around the corner. We'll be the YMCA of Steuben County March 26, 27, and 28. Stayed tuned for details!!

As always, we welcome ladies of all ages to come see if we have something that's perfect for your next event. Why buy when you can borrow from your sister? 😉😘

Hello, ladies!

We've been quiet lately, but lots has been happening at My Sister's Closet.

Most importantly...

THANK YOU to everyone who donated dresses this past year!

A special thanks to Brittany King at Pink Dandelion Boutique (formerly in Fremont) & Project Help, who donated DOZENS of gowns when Pink Dandi moved out of their old building.

Our closet is growing by leaps and bounds and we are so thankful! Every donation gives ladies more options when searching for the perfect outfit for their special occasion. 💜

We did a major revamp of the dress room several months ago. It no longer doubles as a guest bedroom, and now houses 5 rolling racks and 12' of wall racks, all full of gowns!

As always, we welcome ladies of all ages to come see if we have something that's perfect for your next event. Why buy when you can borrow from your sister? 😉😘
