I recently became aware of interactions, where my employees were treated disrespectfully because we do not offer a public restroom. Let me be clear, my employees are following the policy that has been put in place by me, the owner. My employees should never be made to feel bad, be yelled at, have snarky comments towards them and having customers being loud and aggressive in the store. There are other customers shopping, and that is not fair to them either. My employees are simply doing their job. I understand that it is inconvenient for some customers not to have a public restroom. There are many reasons why this policy was placed, which I am not going to discuss. I will always stand behind my staff. I will not tolerate anyone treating them badly. Thank you for understanding. Also my staff did try to let customers know where there were public restrooms. Also there was not any kind of "emergency" either, as the customers kept shopping in the store despite being angry and rude.
