Wow!!! Ricky hits pay dirt again this year!!! Congratulations!!!!

When it rains, it pours—and sometimes it pours goodness! 🌧✨
I’m thrilled to share more amazing news: my quilt, The Visitation, will be featured as a one-quilt special exhibit at the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham, England next year! The show opens at the end of July… and as if that isn’t exciting enough, a 13-day tour is now in the works — starting at the Festival and ending in Edinburgh, Scotland, just in time for the world-famous Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo at Edinburgh Castle. 🏰🎶

I just got a message from a shop owners group, asking for finished quilts suitable for children. The quilt shop they sewed in caught fire and is a total loss. Message is as follows:

I have an update from the shop in Dodge City and something we can do for her and the local quilt guild. The local guild in Dodge City is called Miss Kitty’s Quilters (Gunsmoke anyone?!) and they sew quilts for kids for a children’s home. They used the shop as their meeting space and storage. The guild had just had a work day to make kids quilts and all of those quilts were at the shop and hadn’t been delivered yet. Joyce has asked if we could get some kids quilts (shop samples we’re done with?) into the hands of Miss Kitty’s Quilters. The children’s home is needing them. If you have any quilts for kids you’re finished with and wouldn’t mind giving to a good cause, please send them to me at Sew Loved Quilt Shop, 559 Morton St., #104, Elkhart KS 67950. Mark the box Miss Kitty’s. I will get them to Joyce ASAP. She said to let you know she feels your prayers and thanks you for them.

Ricky Tims did it again girls! This is so spot on great!

I’m not breathing!!! Holy Beejeesus!! Best of Show at International Quilt Festival in Houston. I’m trying to calm down so my heart doesn’t give out. You should all know…your love and support inspires and drives me. Your embracing me over these many years spurs me forward. I share this amazing honor with you.

The Visitation
When Raven comes, so silently
A feathered ghost on moonlit tree.
No caw, no cry—just mystic grace;
With hands of time in his embrace

He brings a gift both worn and wise
Revealing truth behind the lies.
The gift foretells what none can stall—
That time will end for one and all.

The barren tree, in winter's chill,
Has living roots and pulses still.
When spring returns, and new days dawn,
New buds appear—time presses on.

When Raven takes his final flight
And disappears in failing night,
Don’t hesitate—don’t drift, don’t wait.
