Any residual smells after the cleaning and deodorizing process will be one of my cleaning supplies:
* Diluted vinegar
* Baby soap
* Lanolin
* Beeswax
That's it! Those are the only cleaning supplies I use on fabric. 🧼

A simple tidy, clean, and mend on this well-loved doll. The brown thread on the legs was not by me; I just reinforced and preserved the original stitching. Mending, especially when done by family, should be preserved and cherished. It has so much love in every stitch. ❤️

Welcome to Lovey's Stitch and Stuff Plushie Repair! I'm a mom who loves giving toys a second chance—and with a rowdy kid and mischievous dog, I've had plenty of practice. Whether it's mending tears, re-attaching limbs, cleaning, or patching, I've done it all! Vintage toys and plushies are my specialties, but I'm willing to try any project if it means more playtime for a special toy friend.

We like using visible mending at our house because it adds character, but I can do less visible fixes, too. Prices are low, message me with photos of your project for a quote! And check out some of my before-and-after pictures.

I'm also accepting donations of "ruined" toys that I can repair for resale.
