I had so much fun shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this morning!

Right now, the sale is open to Nordstrom cardholders through July 17. It opens to everyone on July 18, so now is the perfect time to build your Wish List and fill your cart.

Today was my first time shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale on opening day, and it did not disappoint!

Right now, the sale is open to Nordstrom cardholders through July 17. If you’re not shopping yet, don’t worry. The sale opens to everyone on July 18.

My tip? Start building your Wish List now and add your favorites to your cart so you’re ready when the sale opens.

It’s a difficult day for me. Today marks one year since we lost our sweet Daisy. 💔

Losing her reminded me that one of the hardest parts of aging is realizing how precious time is with the people and pets we love.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve experienced more loss. But it’s also made me appreciate life more than ever. I don’t want to keep waiting for “someday.” I want to make the memories, take the trips, hug the people I love a little longer, and find joy in the ordinary moments that become the ones we treasure most.

Daisy gave us years of unconditional love, and not a day goes by that we don’t miss her. She will always be part of our family and forever in our hearts.

If there’s one thing she’s taught me, it’s this.

Love deeply. Make the memories. Don’t wait.

I found what might be the Hamptons’ best-kept secret last night… and I almost didn’t want to share it.

We went to see our favorite musician, Christiaan Padavan Christiaan Padavan, and ended up discovering the perfect summer spot.

Picture a beautiful outdoor garden, live music, craft cocktails, and an incredible atmosphere—all set at a beautifully restored movie theater. And just when you think it couldn’t get better, there’s even a hidden speakeasy upstairs that takes you back in time.

It felt like we’d stumbled onto something really special.

I promised I’d tell you… it’s the Sunset Social Club and Sunset Bar at the Sunset Theater in Westhampton Beach.

I went to my annual hematology appointment today, and while everything looked good, my doctor recommended I get a B12 shot.

It reminded me that these appointments aren’t just about finding problems. They’re about taking care of ourselves, asking questions, and staying ahead of our health.

As women, we spend so much of our lives taking care of everyone else. This chapter is about taking care of ourselves, too.

Don’t wait until something feels wrong. Schedule the appointment. Your future self will thank you.

Worth It Wednesday ✨
60 Before 60 • Day 15
For so many years, I focused on everyone else. Their schedules, their milestones, and their special moments came first.

One of the greatest gifts of retirement has been making space for some of those moments for myself.

At this stage of my life, I’ve realized that experiences mean more to me than things. The memories last longer, and they fill my heart in a way that nothing I can buy ever could.

Seeing Death of a Salesman was one of those experiences. It was my Worth It Wednesday, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

This town’s most famous resident got married yesterday… 💍

So while Taylor was celebrating in New York, we spent the afternoon soaking in the beauty of Watch Hill, Rhode Island.

Lunch at the Verandah at the Ocean House was one of those experiences I’ll remember for a long time. The ocean views, beautifully manicured grounds, and timeless New England charm made it feel like stepping back in time.

If you’re looking for a place to slow down, enjoy a great meal, and take in spectacular scenery, add this to your list. Congratulations Taylor… we’ll catch you and Travis next time. 💙
