And I'd bet money you've been to her old place. 👀

If you've spent time in Downtown Sugar Hill, you probably already know Keri

5 years running Sugar Hill Distillery. The restaurant, the brewery, the events, all of it.

Here's what most people don't know about her. 🤯

Before the distillery, Keri spent over 2 decades in optical. 🤓😎

🔧 Ran a finishing lab

👥 Helped train opticians, managers, and doctors across nine locations

🔬 Spent 3 years in a lens manufacturing lab doing destructive testing (that last one is my favorite. Her actual job was breaking lenses on purpose to find out exactly where they fail. 😅)

She knows what bad eyewear looks like before you do. 😏

So when she told me what drives her in what she does:

This past weekend, we hosted Georgia’s first-ever Allegiant Eyewear 2-Day Launch Event, and we could not have asked for a better experience for our community.

A huge thank you to Stuart, Brooke, and Allegiant’s CEO Patrick for flying down and making this happen. We had the best conversations about the amazing things to come from the Allegiant line.

Friday brought some serious weather.
⛈️🌧️☔️
We are talking a month’s worth of rain in a matter of hours, according to the weatherman himself. 😱

So many of you reached out wishing us well and apologizing for not being able to make it out in that mess, and we felt every bit of that support. 🥰

Saturday more than made up for it, and we are so grateful for everyone who came out both days.

Thank you to our incredible local business partners: Playa Bowls and Brightside Cafe , for the treats and the energy you brought to the event.
