Hey guys!! Below I have a link to a print on demand page that I have created. It has a few different designs on it from t-shirts to hats to coffee mugs and even die cut stickers!! I have a SOK (Southern Oklahoma) Apparel line that I will be adding more designs to! I have Christian related designs as well!! I will be adding to all designs and more products as time goes!!

Hey everyone, it’s been a little while since I’ve been on here, so I wanted to share an update!

Last year, I worked pretty hard to create a league with a plan to play from spring to fall. I even had quite a bit of interest and a few promises from people that fell through. So, for now, I had decided to take a break for a little while and even had some other things I needed to take care of come up.

THIS DOES NOT MEAN IT JUST WONT HAPPEN!

I am currently working on some other projects in my life, but, below you will find a list of what needs to happen for me to be able to start a league.

1. I need players. At least 18 guys (2 teams) who are 18 and older in age are NEEDED. This is not a limit, in fact, the more the better.

2. I can keep fees lower if at least some of the guys are willing to help put some work into the league. Things that are seriously needed (especially if we use the field I tried to set up last year) will be dirt work, chalk/paint for foul lines and batter boxes, and sometimes even mowing. Maybe even umpiring other teams’ games.

3. Donations would be greatly appreciated. Dirt rakes, bases, mound rubber, a new home plate, equipment: such as baseball gloves, baseball bats, helmets, etc would be great. So if you know of a team or field getting rid of any of this equipment and it is still in useable condition, please get them in contact with this page. Even monetary donations can be accepted via cashapp (please message me for the cash tag) or get with me for cash or checks. I can also set up a couple of different fundraiser opportunities and volunteers for these opportunities would be extremely appreciated. Any sort of money would go back into the league.

These are the three MAIN things that need to happen. My goal is to eventually bring some form of recreation and entertainment baseball to Southern Oklahoma. I want to provide a family friendly atmosphere where adults can play the game they grew up loving as kids, kids can watch their dads go be awesome on the baseball diamond, and players and spectators can share fun and interesting interactions.

Some quick information for joining our league.

We are hoping to start games by July 22, 2023 or July 29, 2023 (both Saturdays) and play regular season through October 21, 2023 then playoffs will begin the following Saturday although the championship game being on November 18, 2023.
Next year the end of the season will be similar, however, the season will begin around April 2024.

There is a max of 15 players per team (does not have to include the Manager, however, managers CAN still play). It is $450 per team (Approximately $30-$50 per player) and that covers player association fee, insurance, and a dozen baseballs. Uniforms will be up to each team. Team names will need to be approved (primarily to keep from having multiple teams with the same name).

All games will be played at Cardinal Baseball Field at Cardinal Park in Ardmore, OK and play on Saturdays and Sunday Afternoons.

We will be having a workday on Sunday July 9, 2023 beginning at 1 pm at the baseball field.

We have secured a field! It needs just a little work. Sunday the 9th I will be having a workday on the baseball field. All we need to do is take some hula hoes to the baseline and around the mound. Feel free to bring a glove and a ball if you're not with a team to have a chance to toss the ball a little bit afterwards.

Hey everyone! While we are working on getting started, we do need help with funding, we are accepting donations via cashapp at $SOKBaseballLeague or you can purchase a shirt from our bonfire campaign. We appreciate any help we can get!

Examples that funds may be used for include field chalk and chalking equipment, rakes for dirt, it may also be used for field improvements or field rentals. We also may use it to cover our travel costs to games or anything else that will help us run a smooth league, promote the league, or create a safe and fun environment for adults to play baseball.

Hello Everyone! We are working to plan a Summer/Fall league. So any men that are 18 and older that would like to play BASEBALL NOT SOFTBALL, please let us know.

We would also like to let everyone know that we are now accepting donations via cashapp. You can find our cash tag in our bio.

We will be hosting a meeting within the next month or so to explain what our league is about and some of the rules associated with the league.

We are so excited about what is to come in the next few weeks/months with the start of this league. We are also going to be working to start a podcast this month where we can talk baseball. This podcast will share general baseball news, SOK Baseball news, and more.

We are working with the National Adult Baseball Association (NABA) to bring Recreation Baseball for Adults in Southern Oklahoma. We plan to operate in Murray, Pontotoc, Johnston, Garvin and Carter Counties.
