The Second Hand is located at 11560 Marth Berry HWY. We sell gently used clothing (many actually still have the tags on them). We have children’s clothing (used and new boutique), women’s and men’s clothing, shoes, hand

bags, and accessories. We also have Maternity clothes! We have all the hottest brands and styles that you will see in the major stores and malls for 40% to 80% less. �

We look forward to meeting those of you that are smart and trendy and want to find value in fashion. We are excited to develop relationships with our customers and bring this opportunity to Summerville. Let us help you find the sizes and styles you desire. The Second Hand is not a thrift store, WE DO NOT TAKE DONATIONS. We only take excellent condition clothing and accessories for consignment or resale. If you consign we actually split our profits with you; when your items sell, 60% goes to you and 40% goes to us. We also offer cash for clothing by appointment only if you prefer resale.

Consignment: �

The Second Hand focuses on boutique and beloved brands of clothing, shoes, and accessories for the essence of each season. Our consignment categories include:
Infant/children's clothes, shoes, and accessories
Maternity Clothes
Young Adult/Junior's clothes, shoes, and accessories
Women’s/Plus size clothes, shoes, and accessories
Men's clothes, shoes, accessories

You bring your items to the store and drop them off and we will go through and choose what our customers will buy. Our selections are based on our customer preferences and will be our selection guidelines. There will be items that we do not take because of the brand, style, condition, or even inventory levels. We screen, select, steam, price, tag, hang, store, display, sell, and handle customer follow-up for all your items! You will receive 60% of each item that sells. Guidelines:

Clothes must be CLEAN and CURRENT, no more than 3 years old, and in excellent condition. Items must be free of odor, stains, pilling, fading, and other defects or they will not be taken. Items brought in must be folded or laid flat in a tub or bag. NO CARDBOARD PLEASE. Accessories need to be clean, and in great condition. Items with multiple pieces need to be grouped/pinned together, or placed in ziplock bags. We take current season items. Prices are based on supply and demand within our market. We will get the best possible prices for you. If you have a set price you would like to receive for a specific item please make that known to us and we will try to work that out. Prices of items may be discounted to encourage the sale of the items. Discounts will begin around 45 days of the item being consigned. The consignment period is 90 days or until the end of the consignment season. Spring/Summer is May 31st and Fall/Winter is December 31st. Items not picked up before the end of the season date will be donated to local charities. Our consignment hours will be announced. Resale:
If you choose not to consign, we offer a few resale appointments each week. Again these are only appointment based and we will take items that are
in season, in excellent condition, and based on the sizes that we need.
