T&O Summer Reading List, Part Two: London Falling by Patrick Radden Keefe.
I first read Keefe’s article in The New Yorker when this story broke and couldn’t stop thinking about it. Thankfully, neither could he. The search for answers eventually became this book, and once I picked it up, I couldn’t put it down. (Dani gives it a big thumbs up, too.)
Part investigative journalism, part true crime, and part family story, London Falling follows a decades-long search for the truth while exploring grief, memory, and the mysteries that don’t always have neat endings.
And because we are who we are, we couldn’t leave it at the book. We had to build an outfit to match.
A breezy linen shirtdress, comfortable shoes made for wandering, and a bag roomy enough for snacks... or clues. It’s equal parts sightseeing and sleuthing, ready for wherever the day takes you.

T&O Summer Reading List, Part One: Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan.
It’s short, but somehow contains an entire world. Every sentence matters, and so much of the story happens in the quiet spaces between the words. You can read it, feel like you really got something out of it, and hopefully it’ll plant the seed for more summer reading.
Since reading it, I’ve kept thinking about the ripple effect of small choices. How one act of kindness, moment of courage, or seemingly insignificant decision can quietly shape countless lives that follow.
And because we are who we are, we couldn’t leave it at the book. We had to build an outfit to match.
This one is all about the small things that make the biggest impact: the accessories you reach for every day, the pieces with a story behind them, the thoughtful details that quietly transform an outfit. Tiny additions. Lasting effect.
