Well…unfortunately we had a couple who thought they would take advantage of a blessed busy day and not pay for their food & drinks. We’re lucky for the most part that this is a very rare occurrence…only once before. I was going to give the benefit of the doubt until the video showed them acting suspicious looking around for the get away. Even pretending to get cash out to pay. Jeez, times are tough for everyone, we’re pretty generous if you need food I’m more than happy to give you a hot meal. Even our staff is generous and has paid for customers meals. Sheesh, sorry for the rant but we all were working our tails off today and these people thought they were above paying for their meals & food. ** thank you all for your comments…we really do have the best customers..I can’t even tell you how many times we get *pay it forwards* from customers paying for other customers meals. They are always surprised when it happens, but it really happens a lot at hometowncharmcafe! There is a lot of good people in this world and a few bad apples.
