Good Morning Everyone 🤍
I have an update to share …
After months of pivoting and navigating next steps, I have made the hard decision to permanently close Aurora & Ruby. While this has been a very emotional decision, it is the best path forward and aligns with my personal growth and goals. I am sharing this now in full confidence in my decision.
Our last days in retail locations will be at the end of November. Before then, I will be participating in our two favorite events in November, and I will be bringing everything I have to make them special.
To the small business community, I have a plethora of racks & displays that I will be selling for a small fraction. I also wanted to thank you for welcoming little Emily into the small business community a little over three years ago. Aurora & Ruby forced me out of my comfort zone and I have met some of my best friends through it all.
To the retail locations and small businesses that have welcomed me with open arms. Thank you! A special shout out to Sorso Coffee, Amazing Grace Gifts and More , The Funky Pumpkin, The Bibliophile Candle Co., and Celestielle Bookstore! You will always have a special place in my heart!
To event hosts.. whew thank you for giving me a chance! In some shape or form you helped me in ways you will never know. To list a few - Canal Wi******er Maker's Market, Columbus Coffee Festival, Wendy Friedrich Poston, Wide Open Hearts, Retreat 21, Blacklick Elementary Pride Partners PTO, Ethos + Co. Cafe, & Butterfly Nation.
To Autumn LeeAnn Timms & Kendra White.. you two were one of the biggest blessings that came with owning Aurora & Ruby. Although our lives are all so different we have such similar passions for life! I am so looking forward following you both around and supporting you and your businesses.
To my Kelli Campbell & Mark Campbell. THANK YOU! Mom I genuinely don’t know how I would have been able to really get up and running without you. Mark, you made my brick and mortar dream come to life in Painted Tree! You took such a weight off my shoulders and I will never be able to repay you for doing that so graciously.
To all of you.. you took a chance on me and trusted me and that is not something I’ll ever take for granted! I will remember all of your names and what items you have purchased at a snap of my fingers 😂
There are still many steps to take in this big adjustment. I will continue to update you all as I have the information, especially on any closing sales!
For now, please continue to support the three amazing locations Aurora & Ruby is located! I would absolutely love for your support at the two final events at Ethos + Co & Blacklick Elementary. The website will remain down until the very end.
Thank you so much for all of your support. If you would like to share your favorite items you purchased in the comment or how you first found Aurora & Ruby, I’d love to hear your stories 🤍
