This full armor set was designed and handcrafted by the brilliant minds behind Ray Leather Smith and completed in February 2020. The original kit included a custom Armor Belt, Vanbraces, Greaves, and Gorget — each piece crafted entirely from leather and made to withstand the demands of the field.

At the time, the belt featured soft padding for comfort, but it has since been upgraded with Kydex plastic plates for added structure and durability. The Gorget has also been redesigned — more on that in a future post.

This set stands as a testament to the craftsmanship and creativity that defines everything we do at Ray Leather Smith.

Attention Arizona SCA, HEMA, and all Rattan fighters!
We’re excited to announce that we are now offering quality rattan to support your needs. For now, we’re looking at stocking three lengths:

3 ft sections each for $15.50, or 4x3 ft $57, or 6x3 ft $88

6 ft sections each for $22.50, or 4x6 ft $85, or 6x6 ft $130

9 ft sections each for $30, or 4x9 ft $110, or 6x9 ft $170

We are taking orders now to be fulfilled starting on September 1st!

We are also considering and pricing the sales of Strapping Tape, disks for Thrusting tips, and Leather Straps for triggers. Please keep your eyes open for those posts to come out!
