T&S has had many chapters. In the very beginning, it was a blog. I remember how scared I was publishing my first post, uploading photos of myself (that part is still a little scary, not going to lie haha), and I thought there was no way anything would ever come of it.
A few years later, I realized that maybe what I had started as a hobby could actually become more. I began patterning more, designing, ordering more expensive fabrics, and finally, I decided to just go for it.
I walked into a shop and said I was a local designer and thought they might be interested in what I was working on. They were.
I left that shop dripping with sweat. Soaked. It was such an incredible feeling.
I started my own brand label and met so many wonderful supportive people in this community that were so encouraging.
T&S became more than a clothing line. It was a lifestyle. Slow fashion that took into consideration what you needed from the clothing.
T&S started, for me, with the idea that each chapter was going to look different and it has evolved throughout the years to meet the demands that I have in my life.
Starting out in my parent's home, selling wholesale, moving to sell exclusively online, to then opening a shop. It has changed and evolved to the demands of the times.
I have made the decision, since times are a-changin' once more with the birth of my son, to move back to selling exclusively online. This gives my family and me more freedom in our lives.
Having this shop the past few years has made such an impact on me as a woman and designer. The ability to meet so many of you, see you try on clothing, hear about your lives, etc.
It's been a slice of heaven! I've enjoyed this chapter of T&S and my life, and I look forward to designing and bringing more beauty into this world through fabric!
Since we are closing our brick & mortar, we have some clothing that needs to find a home! We will be open this Friday and Saturday 12-3 pm for a final sale! More info to come!
