It’s an absolutely gorgeous day here in the Land of Delight, Michigan’s pinky, the Leelanau Peninsula—A SLICE OF HEAVEN ✨

It has been such a wonderfully busy week seeing both new faces and familiar ones! It’s a nice change of pace after the unusually slow start we’ve had to the season.

Don’t forget! Tonight is the Suttons Bay Art & Wine Walk! Despite what the walking map says, we ARE participating! (I’ve been really busy and forgot to send in my information in time ok??!!) We will be hosting and their delightful summery sips, as well as my pal Anna Buell of who will have her trademark lake stone coasters, trays, and handmade jewelry!

Art & Wine Walk in Suttons Bay is this Friday, from 5-8 pm! 🍷 🖼️ ✨

I’m so excited to host my pal Anna of who has been a vendor in the shop pretty much since the beginning. Anna will be bringing her unique, funky handcrafted jewelry pieces, as well as some lake stone trays and of course—the beloved coasters!

We are also excited to host our friends at again 🥰 we can’t wait to have you at the shop and in the village for a fun evening!

The poppies are in bloom 🥹❤️

Sure, they’re just a flower; but for me they encompass an entire memory, a feeling that’s hard to describe, a future, too.

Resilience. Boldness. Strength. Awe. Wonderment.

This is going to sound cheesy as heck, but I am this flower. The poppy, it’s me 🥹🤣 I’ve honestly been too tired to overshare on the internet lately, all that is going on.

If you know me both on this platform and real life, you know I am an open book. So the level of emotional exhaustion (and honestly physical as well) that I’ve been experiencing the past two years but REALLY the last six months goes to show just how tired I am that I haven’t written you any insider excerpts from behind the scenes in what feels like forever.

The season of life I am in feels like it will probably be the hardest, so I am able to push through knowing that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I’ll get my sparkle back at some point. I’ll be funny again sometime soon.

Until then, I just keep pushing through the soil. I keep growing. I keep blooming.
