The universe has a funny way of showing up.
I’ve been saying ALL day that I wanted a World Cup shirt… and somehow we got talked into this incredible sports bar with one of the best views in Cabo. Downtown on one side, the marina and desert mountains on the other… and before the match even started, they handed me a World Cup shirt. 🌎⚽🇲🇽
The place has a total Tony Montana meets The Godfather vibe. Ci**rs, pool tables, mafia-inspired décor… if you know, you know.
Then kickoff happened.
Wally and I looked around and realized… we were about the only gringos in the place. 😂 And honestly? We understood the assignment.
Flags were flying. Noisemakers were being handed out. Faces were getting painted. Every time Mexico made a run, the entire bar erupted. It wasn’t just cheering for a soccer team—it felt like an entire country was cheering together.
And when Mexico won… wow. 🇲🇽❤️
The celebration was unforgettable.
One thing I absolutely loved about Mexico is that people don’t seem afraid to celebrate with their whole hearts. They celebrate loudly, proudly, and together. It’s contagious.
A few Cabo tips if you decide to visit Cosa Nostra Sports Bar:
✅ The location is perfect—cool ocean breeze, incredible marina views on one side, downtown on the other.
✅ The hospitality was top-notch. Everyone was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome.
✅ Drinks are a little pricey, and you pay as you go—no running a tab.
✅ Before you leave, you’ll need to show your paid receipt downstairs to exit, since it’s their way of preventing people from walking out without paying.
And one piece of advice…
🚫 Do NOT order the pizza. 😂 It was hands down the worst pizza I’ve ever had—somehow both raw and covered in Parmesan.
Everything else?
Absolutely worth it.
Sometimes the best memories aren’t the ones you planned. They’re the ones you accidentally stumble into.
¡Vamos México! 🇲🇽⚽🍻🌴
