And just like that, summer is on the horizon and we are looking back on our busiest season yet! After flying through prom season we’ve taken a moment to reflect on the fact that our incredible team of 7 tailors and 3 assistants manage to work their magic custom fitting clothes for all occasions all out of our 960 sq ft store! So as we look back at the busy spring season, we are also starting to dream of a new home for Alterations Plus. Thanks to our amazing community that has continued to support us over the years, we are so happy that we can even begin to search for a larger store. We are so excited to see what is on the horizon for us!! And if you see any store fronts that catch your eye, don’t be shy and drop us a line 🪡🧵 we will be looking for new locations this summer 🧵🪡

As the school year comes to an end we wish all our seniors best of luck in their coming adventures. As for us? We are turning our sights towards summer wedding season 💍🥂

Looking back at some of the last of our holiday alterations, including a stunning black ballgown for Tanya as well as a suit tailored for Bill, and a beautiful navy blue evening gown for Allyson. We are so grateful for the many opportunities we had to dress our community, friends and loved ones this year in clothes that make them shine! We can’t wait to see what is in store for 2026✨

The holidays can be such a joyous time filled with connection, laughter and loving reunions. But we know that the holiday season is also a time of reflection and remembrance, where many of us think back to years gone by and those cherished loved ones who are no longer with us. It is with this spirit that we make memory pillows, using old garments and giving them new life. We treasure the chance to transform your loved ones garments into a keepsake, giving it a new use while retaining all of the love and memories. These pillows in particular are a gift to two granddaughters from their grandfathers old warm and cozy flannels. We are so grateful for the trust we were given to make these pillows. Feel free to contact us at any time of year for memory pillows, and we hope your holiday season is special, and full of love for all.
