Jeff Petersen is a non-denominational wedding officiant specializing in elopements, vow renewals, and wedding ceremonies.

For more than 21 years, the Petersen family has owned and operated Chapel in the Pines, a wedding venue, that was built as a labor of love by Howard Petersen for Donna Petersen for their thirtieth wedding anniversary, on their 7-acre lushly landscaped private country estate in Sycamore, Illinois. Having had the honor of sharing of nearly two thousand wedding ceremonies at the wedding chapel and wedding gazebo, ranging from traditional to non-traditional, and drawing on the wedding traditions and rituals of beliefs from around the world. With over 500 weddings officiated and experience officiated at Chapel in the Pines, Jeff's mission is to ensure a smooth ceremony for your perfect day.
