I love doing live cuts at festivals, it just hit different when I get to bring a piece to life and customize it to the customers curves on the spot! It’s such a fun interactive element to my work that is quite rare! I enjoyed doing a few live cuts at Fahrenheit Flow Arts Festival festival in September. This was the first one! It was also this persons first time to a flow arts festival, and I got to make her first slit weave piece on the spot! Grateful ❤️‍🔥

This is one of my most unique design concepts. I’ve been creating reversible items including these sleeves, tube tops, leggings and more for many years!

They can be time intensive and challenging to get smooth. I have thinned out my inventory and offerings nowadays, only offering the sleeves, and only in my Etsy shop at the moment, but they are available in multiple color combos!

I really am proud of these creations 😍 what do you think? 💜

Live Slit Weave design is something I do rarely, but it’s always a fun experience! I love the energy and inspiration of being surrounded by art, music, and magick makers while getting into a creative flow. 🔮

When I cut a piece on the body, it allows for much more customization and quirkiness then when I am designing on a flat table - that’s why I’ll often use mannequins at home to test out different weaves and patterns…but there’s something really special about bringing an outfit to life on a person in real time 🥹

As a multifaceted creative, it’s hard for me to just do one thing for too long…in fact I pretty much always have at least 5 projects going in at once 😅 can anyone relate? …I’ve been feeling burnt out creating Slit Weave for a few years now, and so to aid in that discomfort, I find myself joyfully dabbling in new creative processes - like bleach dye 🖌️ …I’m currently working on a new collection of one of a kind pieces - so if you like this style be sure to follow along for more, and to find out when I make some fresh pieces available!
