Today is one of those days I'll never forget.

I am so excited (and yes... ugly crying 😭) because I was just featured in Evryday Blk Magazine's Black-Owned Business Spotlight!

Seeing this feature is such a surreal experience. It reminded me just how much has happened since I started Spirit Cereal LLC in 2020. There have been so many highs, challenges, lessons, and beautiful surprises along the way.

More than anything, I feel grateful.

Grateful to everyone who has encouraged me, made a purchase, visited my booth at an event, shared my work, or simply believed in me.

And if I'm honest, today also comes with a tender ache. I miss my mom and my brother Johnny so much. I wish they could have seen this moment. I think they'd be smiling right alongside me.

Thank you, Evryday Blk Magazine, for this incredible honor and for shining a light on Black-owned businesses and the stories behind them.

I’m honored to share that Spirit Cereal LLC has now been featured in THREE issues of Evryday Blk Magazine, including the newly released Issue 03: The Balance Issue. 🖤✨👏🏾

Seeing my work included alongside so many talented Black entrepreneurs, artists, and creatives continues to feel surreal in the best possible way.🥹

Spirit Cereal LLC was created from a desire to blend gratitude, culture, representation, and bold self-expression through heart-assisted digital art and lifestyle products. What began as a deeply personal creative vision has continued expanding into spaces I once only dreamed about.

As a small business owner and creative entrepreneur based in the Pacific Northwest, moments like this remind me of the importance of visibility, storytelling, and community-centered creativity. I’m especially grateful to continue representing Black women with locs, individuality, and the unique spirit of PNW creativity through my work.
