It’s time to Do The Puyallup and there’s only one way!! You can imagine our excitement, it’s the same feeling you used to get the week or night before you made the trip with your family or that certain group of best-friends or maybe that special interest. That’s how we have begun to approach this yearly. About midway through our second year of this partnership we realized how important it was to simply be at the booth together - sharing the access as a team. It’s a bonding experience we didn’t expect - which is interesting considering we know WA State Fair is a bonding experience for most families and peer groups. It was a conquest to us originally and then a dream made reality through common understanding.
This year we are pushing for awareness in a new way, everyone seems to know we’re at the fair but WHERE?! That’s been the constant question and a new challenge for us. Last year it was flag and banners that helped our visibility. But we have been taught how peer to peer learning can spell things out better than hearing it from elsewhere. So thats our ask this year. Es**rt your family, es**rt the homies, chaperone your grandparents there, leave bread crumbs from your boyfriend, or rose petals for wifey. Be a guiding light.
