STORE CLOSING NOTICE
After 3 1/2 years, Unique Vintiques Market (UVM) will be closing its doors December 31, 2019. We want to thank all of our amazing community of customers, vendors, and employees for your faithful support of UVM! We love our tribe!!!
We will be running amazing merchandise and furniture sales throughout the month of December! THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!! Please come and sign our memory book, visit, shop and enjoy the deep discounts just in time for Christmas!!!
Please keep in mind that we will be retaining many of our display furniture, fixtures and display elements for future projects.
We love you, Tahlequah!!! Don’t think we will forget you!!! We will continue to be involved in our community!!! Future projects are always incubating... for those familiar with the Entrepreneurial Spirit understand creative ideas continuously flow!!!
For those asking why we are closing, there is a combination of factors that have led us to this decision:
1. Location is too far south of the main downtown area
2. Since the beginning the focus has shifted from antiques to a more diverse selection of merchandise which has attracted more types of customers. And, While we have sold tons of antique furniture and architectural pieces, the initial focus on antiques still attracts a large number of “Nostalgia Seekers” who treat antique businesses like free museums instead of buying merchandise.
3. Last but not least! The close proximity to the “Day Center” has created ever-increasingly numbers of migrating transients and the activities that accompany the “Gypsy Lifestyle.”
