If you’re a prayer warrior or have room on your prayer list, we humbly ask for your prayers as we work to bring the Charlie Ward Champions Ranch vision to life. This is a God-sized vision that exceeds my family’s capacity, but we trust in His faithfulness. He’s already brought us incredible partners, and with your intercession, we believe the additional support we need will come in His perfect timing.

Pray that God moves the hearts of those who are blessed with abundant resources to invest in this life-changing mission. We’re believing for divine connections and generous partners who will help us launch the first phases of the ranch, where lives will be transformed by His grace and power. We also have specific prayer points you can follow when you go to ChampionsRanch.org.

Today, we honor Juneteenth, Freedom Day, the day in 1865 when the news of emancipation finally reached the last of the enslaved in Galveston, Texas, more than two years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. As believers, we recognize this moment as a reflection of God’s heart for justice, freedom, and the dignity of all people made in His image.

We give thanks for the strength, faith, and courage of those who endured unimaginable hardship, yet never lost hope. Their sacrifice and resilience laid the foundation of this nation. On their shoulders, and by God’s grace, we continue to build—a nation striving toward unity, justice, and the fulfillment of His command to love one another.

“For the Lord is righteous, He loves justice; the upright will see His face.” – Psalm 11:7.
