This is a space for kids to be HEARD 🎤

Wee welcome strong voices. Wee create spaces to sit up tall. Wee want to hear what our wee friends have to say.

Bullying can result in isolation; the conviction that we have nothing to contribute; the fear of being seen + heard.

Now that the Brave Hearts event has ended for 2025 (stay tuned for our pop-up events!), wee have launched Part 2: ONGOING SERVICES for kids that have lost their courage to speak. Those that have been bullied + must become brave.

3 weeks ago, over 200 people pledged to be Upstanders.

With a small but mighty team, we built a multi-faceted event designed to empower children to truly stand up to bullying, then send them home with the resources to keep the momentum going. A rally led by kids—amplifying their voices, shaping their future…and ours too.

We also focused on equipping the adults guiding our youth participants —because change starts with all of us.

Wee built community; wee committed to be upstanding; and wee RALLIED.

And this is just the beginning.

Today, we began connecting with the families that reached out for ongoing services provided by Wee Macree + . Today, we met with the public school system to explore a partnership. When we said we wanted to stop bullying from happening in Tampa Bay, we meant it.

These leaders.
They embody the Wee Macree mission of ‘kids helping kids’ effortlessly.
Last February they gathered for the first time ever to govern the path forward for the nonprofit based on what mattered most to them.
Together, they decided on BULLYING.
This past week, they were at the helm of Tampa’s first-ever programming for young kids against bullying.
They stood beside , and as each one of them told their personal stories of being bullied.
These leaders spoke publicly on a panel and facilitated a break-out session. They welcomed over 200 guests to their event.
They are brave. They are wise. They are love.

Wee Macree is so proud of our Junior Board + can’t wait to welcome new friends as we grow our leadership + mission in the year ahead. 💛
