Easily the most active among the new wave of Japanese hardcore punk bands, Klonns have delivered some of the burliest music to come out of Asia in the last few years, while playing shows with everyone from Abigail to Belgrado to Framtid. Following several EPs and splits, the Heaven LP released on Iron Lung raised their profile in the US and preceded a short west coast tour with Gag in 2025. About the shirts:

Choose from white ink on black or black ink on white Gildan Hammer(or similar) t-shirt. Front print. Images are mock ups, actual prints will be standard 10-11” across.

After paying the band portion, remaining funds will go toward monthly donations made by General Despair to Save a Gato(San Juan, Puerto Rico), Fauna Animal Sanctuary(Battle Creek, MI), Little Wanderers NYC(NY), Woof Whiskers(Philippines), and Black Thornberry(Philadelphia, PA).

These are pre-orders, shirts will print and ship the last week of October.

Up next is another design I’ve been wanting to do ever since I got a copy of it years back and we finally managed to get ahold of somebody from the band to get approval recently. The image is taken from the limited version of the Work LP, itself borrowed from 1987 New Model Army EP.

$5 from each shirt will go to in Pittsburgh, PA and their mission to help street cats. Any remaining money will be added to the pool for General Despair’s monthly donations.

Started the payouts tonight. Rounded some of them up and matched extra where I could considering it’s been awhile since we sent out donations. Maybe someday I will take the time to automate these spreadsheets and not do so much of math/data entry manually but for now, this is how things are. As always thank you all for buying shirts. Thank you to the bands for letting us provide an outlet for official merch and allowing us to donate the proceeds. We will be announcing the next drop soon, hopefully by the end of this week.
