Damien's parents made a dream of mine come true! From ancestry.com I learned of the address where my great grandmother, Juilet, lived after marrying my great grandfather, Joseph. I knew she was from Marseilles and moved to Arles, but to know the exact address was very cool. Damien's parents even came to Arles before we arrived to ensure we'd have a great time visiting the city.

I've included a copy of their emergency passport application for Juilet from Arles to Pennsylvania. You see she was pregnant and wanted to ensure her daughter was born in the US and had her citizenship.

Who knows what this looked like back in 1920. Today it was a little meandering street, with an askew #8 above a grey door and dark green shutters to the left. The address is 8 Mansard Rue, Arles, France.

We've made it to France and what a beautiful country! 😍 We explored Monmartre, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, the Arc d'Triompf, Notre Dame, Sacre-Coeur, did a Terpeca rated escape room (IFYKYK), and had some amazing food including dinner with Damien's sister at her new flat 👩🏻‍🍳💋

We made it safe and sound to Switzerland and had to share the beautiful wild flowers of Zurich! We've never been a fan of grass lawns, especially those managed by HOAs. If only the US could embrace this beautiful landscaping 🌼 🌸 🌻 🌹 🏵

Just a heads up, we’ll will be off on a European adventure from 5/13 to 5/31!

✈️Damien is originally from Paris & we’ll be visiting with his family. & Katie is fulfilling a dream of her late mom, who always longed to visit France where Katie’s Great-Grandmother & Grandmother are originally from.

Orders are still welcome, & we’ll fulfill them as soon as we’re back!
