SICK Angustidens (Megalodon ancestor) shark tooth found at Palmetto Fossil Excursions llc while digging through the ancient ocean floor and prehistoric marine fossil layer that covers much of underground South Carolina. This specific shark tooth has incredible natural colors and features, including the high quality gumline bourlette that Josh mentions in the video. Many time, bourlettes aren’t as nice as this one that survived many years preserved within the fossil layer

Missing Endangered Adult

The Hardee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing
endangered adult, Cecil Hodge, Hodge is a white male, 58 years of age, approximately 5’7”, 160lbs, with medium length brown hair, brown eyes, and has a scar on
his stomach/abdomen.

Hodge was stated to be camping in the area of Peace River between East County Line Road
and Lake Branch Road, Bowling Green, FL. Law enforcement contact was last made with
Hodge on June 12, 2026. He is known to frequent the municipality of Bowling Green, FL for
supplies.

Anyone who has seen Hodge, has had contact with him, or has information regarding his
whereabouts is asked to contact the Hardee County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 863-773-
4144.

We’ve never seen a shark tooth discovery like this before…shout out to Sam Empero with an amazing fossil Great White Shark tooth pulled from a California cliffside which exposed this ancient ocean floor from much higher sea levels. Check out those incredible colors! This species of shark teeth are more rare to find than the extinct Megalodons by the way

Unbelievable Orange Creamsicle colored Megalodon Shark tooth found by Harrison Hobbs! It is very difficult to find a Megalodon Shark tooth with these colors and quality. It might look easy from this final discovery moment, but a find like this usually requires lots of effort, patience and luck

Super wild ancient coral head full of colorful agate…and finally we have a head to cut. Most of our other posts are coral fingers, which can still be amazing, but as a coral hunter, we strive to discover awesome heads like this. Millions of years in the perfect geological conditions have turned the coral skeleton into a colorful gemstone called agate. Most fossil coral is not agatized like this. A good discovery moment captured on camera, is a great way to show the passion and excitement after the hard work of a treasure hunter. With fossils, it’s the first time a prehistoric living thing is seen or touched by humans. For artifacts, it would be the first time it was seen or touched by humans in hundreds or thousands of years. These moments are priceless and we love to share them with all of you. Diver Dean’s incredible shark teeth…on today’s tour, we have his third largest Angustidens shark tooth which is apparently the third largest ever found in the world on record so far, besides the other two larger ones he found as well of course. If anyone knows of another, larger one, please reach out! This is such an incredible piece of prehistoric ocean history with being such a rare size for the species. This size in a Meg, for instance, wouldn’t be rare; however, it’s extremely rare for this smaller Angustidens species

Pretty sure this is a Hubbell Megalodon tooth…but not 100% sure. Hubbell Megs, named after the late Dr. Gordon Hubbell who officially identified them, are debated to be either deformed, malnourished or a different kind of juvenile Meg. However, Dr. Hubbell told me in person that he believed they were a different species all together. Either way, they’re much more uncommon than regular Megs, and they don’t get as big. They have more of a heart shape and are very prized by shark tooth collectors. The colors and quality, with a perfect button tip, really make this tooth an incredible specimen
