We are sisters who love to collect vintage, and want to share our finds with you. Our name comes from our nicknames: one Halloween we dressed up as a turtle and a sting ray, and the names stuck. Emily personally collects poodles, antique photos, and creepy toys. Marie collects old cook books, copper bangles, and vintage linens. Both sisters are obsessed with cowboys and the wild west, and the 1940

s and 1950s. Emily and Marie were bit by the Vintage bug early on, when their mother started taking them along to thrift stores and garage sales to look for fun treasures. The sisters enjoy scouring flea markets and estate sales for priceless "old junk." Vintage items posses a sense of history, artistry, and craftsmanship lacking in contemporary items. There is just something special about finding a handmade dress or a cookbook full of handwritten recipes.

Biiig news, we started an antique booth in Taylor, TX at Vintique Collective! We're hanging up our hat with doing in-person pop-up markets and focusing on our booth and Etsy shop.

If you miss the Austin Antique Mall, many of the vendors came to Vintique Collective and the vibes are, dare I say, even more ✨ magical ✨ here.

We have this intriguing pendant for sale. I just looked up the history and it's wild! It's a copy of a talisman owned by the queen Catherine de Medici. The talisman was created (using Hermetic symbols) by her court astrologer. Allegedly the original was made from a mix of blood and silver!

The 2 figures on the front are Jupiter riding an eagle and an unknown figure (the original had a bird woman that represented Pisces). The text says "The word of God". I couldn't find what Amic Oxie means. The back has a picture of Venus, her name in ancient Hebrew, and the name of Asmodel, a demon of carnal lust.

The talisman is supposed to attract love and power into your life.

I always wanted a "dress like your doll" American Girl Doll outfit, so I was really excited to find this piece! This is Felicity's school skirt (which has inner panniers to flare out the hips) and actually fits an adult extra small / small with a 25.5" waist. How fun is that! Coming soon to our Etsy.
