Angel Gowns for Kern County

Angel Gowns for Kern County Our Mission:
To ease the pain of the parents dealing with a loss of a baby. We do this at no charge and we are not an official non profit organization.

This group of volunteers takes donated wedding dresses and transforms them into Angel gowns for the babies that never get to go home with their families. We hope this small expression of love helps bring some peace to the grieving families. The donations we receive can not be used for a tax deduction.

David’s Cradle and Angel Gowns for Kern County will be honoring the Memorial Day weekend.
There will be no Saturday, May 23, David’s Cradle Meetup.

David's Cradle-Angel Gowns and First Southern Baptist Church - Porterville is hosting an "It's OK To Say Their Name" event on Saturday, May 2 at 11:30 am, at First Southern Baptist Church-Porterville, 1641 W Henderson Ave, Porterville, CA. This event honors all forms of loss, including pregnancy and infancy loss, the loss of a child or young adult, adult children, and loss through abortion, regardless of age or circumstance. All are welcome to join and be included. We will share fellowship, music, enjoy a BBQ Tri-Tip lunch, read the names aloud, and hold a luminary remembrance at no charge. Representatives from local maternity and family resources may be present. For further information, contact Patti Browne at (661) 972-7172.

Thank you to Rotary Club of China Lake, California President Ricca Charlon for inviting David's Cradle Angel Gowns. We appreciated the opportunity to share about infancy and pregnancy loss awareness and discuss how we may serve the Ridgecrest community.
