My journey led me through dedicated art schools for both high school and college, foundational years that prepared me for a dynamic 25-year career in the fashion industry. Beyond design, my spirit finds joy

in the quiet power of words; I love to read and write, especially poetry. With a heart dedicated to serving, protecting, nurturing, and loving, I find profound inspiration in nature, particularly through long hikes and winding trails. Nina is the founder of Meli Micah Design Studio, and she’s doing something that feels deeply needed: giving young creatives the real skills behind fashion and design - not just inspiration, but the full process that turns talent into something sustainable.

What we love about Nina is how much life she’s lived inside this industry. She’s spent years in the behind-the-scenes side of design and manufacturing, and she’s building her studio with so much purpose; pouring what she’s learned into NYC's youth who deserve access to real opportunity and real mentorship.
