Was born at St Vincents in Manhattan and grew up in Houston, Texas on a steady diet of Ultraman, horror movies, war films, and Star Wars. I spent a lot of time drawing and exploring in the creek by my house. At around the age of 8 I started getting in trouble in school for drawing on all my papers and my desk. In high school I was getting into trouble for wearing biker boots and painting on m

y clothes, so I quit and started playing in punk rock bands. During that time, I started sewing more and put legs of jeans on my jackets for arms, drew, hand painted , silk screened, and dyed all my clothes. I continued to mutilate clothes when I moved to LA in 2000 I started to experiment with aging processes, and patternmaking. I made a vest at a friend’s house, Lenny Kravitz saw it, bought it, and that’s how it all started. Giuliana

I grew up in the middle of the woods in Florida, going to school on a hippy commune until I was 10, then we moved to the suburbs where I didn’t really fit in. I spent a lot of time going to shows, punk/ska/hardcore/rockabilly, it didn’t really matter, as long as it wasn’t part of the mallrat teen culture of my town. I lived at thrift stores, reworking clothes, making outfits that made my parents crazy. Somehow, I ended up in a costume design class and fell in love. So, I was going to school at NYU, ran out of money and moved to LA, because it’s cheaper and warmer here. I bartended for the rich/famous/rude/obnoxious for WAY too long, then I met Tod, we started making things together, and that was that.

Pants. Second most important item I think after T Shirt. The COD pants happened because of the British Tanker overalls I was getting in L A. Those were great. Those parts were used until they ran out. Then the switch was made to other army surplus to achieve the same look. Way more labor. But not as heavy to wear. Other samples are of leather and leather and denim combined. Enjoy.
