I present to you- this seasons yarn wall! I moved some Colorways out and moved some new Colorways in…and I’m really happy with how she’s looking!

All Colorways are available on all of my superwash yarn bases including Nimble Sock, Plush Single, Plush DK, and Plush Worsted, and Plush Bulky in both Ready to Ship or Dyed To Order.

Mixing and matching Cottage colors is too much fun! I have so many good combo options but I need more project ideas!

Can n you recommend your favorite project that uses 4-6 colorways to help get some of the combos on the needles?? Crochet or knitting projects please!

I present to you, my finished Hermoine’s Everyday Socks in May’s color of the month Lapis Lazuli on Nimble Sock!

This is a pattern is a free download available on ravelry and I have been meaning to knit it for years. I’m so happy with this choice for this months colorway because the textured stitches highlight the pops of color in a really interesting way. It was a great pattern too- I almost never do a dropped heel like this one, but I’m really happy with how it turned outand the directions were easy to follow!

Lapis Lazuli will be available throughout the weekend on Nimble Sock, Plush Single, and Plush DK. After this weekend I’ll be releasing June’s Color of the Month and I also have a new semi solid for the yarn wall so stay tuned for that!

I’ve added some new colorways to my Cottage Collection! Poppy has made a glorious return and Golden Honey I created this winter- both have been available only in the shop but are now online. And then for something new new, I added this great teal called Tide! Don’t they look so great together? I’m still looking for the perfect pattern, but I’ll be knitting with these three colorways very soon!

If you’re unfamiliar, Cottage is my non superwash merino wool yarn base. It is the same extra fine merino wool (19.5 Micron), just in its natural, untreated form. Cottage Yarns are 4 ply yarns that come in semi-solid tonal colorways, as untreated wool takes color differently than yarns that are superwash. It’s an incredibly soft and luxurious yarn that has wonderful stitch definition, and a lovely drape.

Cottage is available in DK and Fi*****ng Weight 100 gram skeins, and also 20 gram mini skeins in the fi*****ng weight.

I just realized I was so busy this week that I forgot to post anything of send a newsletter! Oops 🫣

Here’s a picture of all my current projects laid out on a giant table. I’ve got a lot of WIPs to wrap up this week. Hopefully I’ll have more time to share them with you!

Other than that, the yarn wall is all loaded up- everything is in stock on both superwash and non superwash bases, May’s Color of the Month Is available on Nimble Sock, Plush Single, and Plush DK and there are still goodies in the SALE section!

Happy Friday Friends! This week was BUSY and next week is shaping up for more of the same. I’m working on freshening up the shop for my summer visitors including brainstorming new samples and pulling out some old favorites. I got Cottage DK restocked finally-plus a new Cottage colorway coming up the pipeline. I reloaded the Color of the Month table. And I worked on a few customs colorways for l some favorite yarn shops!

Plus there’s still lots of goodies in the SALE section if you’d like to take a browse, just search under the yarn tab on the main menu- you can find something on all of my superwash yarn bases, no code needed!

In addition to all of that a made 48 cupcakes and two batches of rice krispy treats for my kiddos dance tonight so if you’ll excuse me I’m going to take a soak in the tub and play Animal Crossing. 🫶🏻
