Camp LOL

Camp LOL Camp LOL is an annual camp for registered Girl Scouts that is held at scenic Turtle River State Park. The LOL in Camp LOL doesn't stand for "laugh out loud".

However, that is strongly encouraged at our camp! The LOL stands for "Living Our Legacy" or rather the legacy the Juliette Gordon Low left us. It is held every September and each year we have a different theme with programming centered around that theme. Girl Scouts who attend have an opportunity to participate in many different activities which helps them foster an appreciation for the outdoors!

📣 Good news! We’ve decided to extend our Patch Competition deadline! 🎉

With summer in full swing, we’ve all been keeping busy, and before we knew it, we completely forgot to post our official “last call!” 😅

So we’re giving everyone one extra week to finish those amazing creations!

Hey Girl Scouts!

In honor of this year’s camp theme, we’re inviting all volunteers who were once Girl Scouts themselves to bring their old uniforms, awards, and SWAPS to camp!

We’re creating a special display in the Woodland Lodge for everyone to enjoy on Saturday, celebrating the memories, traditions, and experiences that helped shape us along the way.

So dust off those vests and sashes, gather your favorite treasures, and join us as we take a walk down memory lane.

Let’s celebrate our past and the Girl Scout journey that connects us all! 💚
