This is a special memory quilt for Kaitlin’s sweet Momma Lisa, who sent me her late husband’s (John) shirts from Massachusetts. Kaitlin FaceTime’d mom when she came to pick it up. So happy I was able to meet you Lisa! I love how patriotic this quilt is and all the stories Kaitlin told me about each of the shirts and his high school jacket. I especially loved the “Where the Figawi?” sailing story.
