Spooky season is creeping closer, and it’s the perfect time to start making your Halloween cards! 🎃🖤 Cassie Trask created this frightfully fabulous design using the latest Simon Hurley Simon Hurley create. Halloween release, featuring the Framed Frights Stamp Set and Gothic Script Stamp. She added dimension and texture with Lunar Paste and the Diamonds Stencil, to bring this fun Halloween scene together.

Instructions:
-Stamp image onto Watercolor cardstock
-Apply embossing powder and heat with embossing gun
-Spray Water onto Watercolor Cardstock
-Begin spraying Distress Sprays in random areas
-Spray with water again to blend colors.
-Use Ranger Heat-It tool to dry cardstock
-Apply more Distress Spray to add layers and texture
-Stamp another Image onto Watercolor Cardstock
-Using the Detailer Waterbrush and Distress Sprays, watercolor the image
-Cut out Image
-Assemble Card
-Use Action Wobbler to pop up Pumpkin
-Apply Clear Dew Drops

-Make-It Stencil: Fireworks
-Make-It Stamp Set: Americana
-Liquid Pearls: Fire Cracker, Blue Velvet, White Opal
-Archival Ink: Old Glory Red, Old Glory Blue
Tim Distress Oxide Ink: Faded Jeans
Simon Hurley create.:
-Small Blending Brush
-Stark White Cardstock
Acrylic Block
 
Instructions:
-On a piece of Stark White cardstock, stencil the fireworks from the Fireworks stencil with Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Ink and a Small Blending Brush.
-Using the Fire Cracker, Blue Velvet and White Opal Liquid Pearls, place dots of those on the dots that were stenciled on the cardstock. Tap the backside of the cardstock lightly to flatten the drops
-Stamp the sentiment from the Americana stamp set on a piece of Stark White cardstock with the Old Glory Red and Blue Archival Ink. Stamp part of the sentiment with red and the other with blue.
-Trim out the sentiment. On another piece of Stark White cardstock, ink blend the edges with Faded Jeans. Trim down the stenciled background slightly smaller than an A2 size. Adhere the stenciled background onto the inked background and add the sentiment to the front.

This layout featuring the From the Garden collection by 49 & Market came together so beautifully. The 49 and Market inks from are a perfect match to the collection, making it easy to create custom mixed media that blends seamlessly. Texture paste added extra dimension, and painting over it with the reinkers made every detail pop. The layers, color, and texture bring this page to life!🌿 made by Sarah Millerhouse

Ranger:
-Texture Paste: Opaque Matte
-Liquid Pearls: Raspberry, Lemon Chiffon, Hydrandgea
 
Instructions:
-Using an ink blending brush, add inks to the background in rainbow order down the page.
-Add Texture Paste through the stencil.
-Glue on laser cuts and ephemera and layer images as desired.
-Paint the rectangles from the stencil with coordinating reinkers in tone on tone.
-Finish with Liquid Pearls - add dots in the centers of flowers. Let dry.

-Stencil: Damask
-Medium & Small Blending Brushes
-Stellar Ink Pads: Shady, Pompus, Crown Me, Fore, Black Widow
-Solar Spray: Trust Fund
-Stark White Cardstock

-Transparencies:Clear

-Coordinating Die Sets: Framed Frights, Bad to the Bone, Hocus Pocus

INSTRUCTIONS:
-Stencil a 4” x 5-¼” piece of White Cardstock with the Damask stencil. Lightly ink over the stencil with Pompus and then Crown Me for a subtle background.
-Lightly ink the Spider Web background stamp with Shady + stamp this over the Damask background.
-With a medium blending brush, shade all four sides of this panel with Shady.
-Splatter this background with Trust Fun Solar Spray.
-Stamp the following images: skeleton, spiders, jar of eyeballs + eyeball bag in Black Widow on White cardstock + color as you like. Die cut them.
-Stamp the EYE LOVE YOU sentiment on a light/bright green card stock with Black Widow, die cut + then shade with a small blending brush + Fore.
-Stamp the frame, till death do us part sentiment + the cat on a gray cardstock with Black Widow + die cut. NOTE: when die cutting the frame, cut out the center of the frame, too.
-Die cut a solid frame from dark purple card stock. Stamp with Black Widow + the Gothic Script stamp.
-Cut a piece of transparency to 2-½” x 3.
-To assemble shaker frame: Adhere transparency to back of gray frame, then adhere skeleton to back of window sheet. On back of this frame, add foam tape all around the edges, making sure the ends all touch. Inside the foam tape + on the back of the skeleton add some shaker bits. Adhere the purple solid frame panel to the back of this to complete the shaker element. Ink the cluster of bats image with Fore, stamp it off on scratch paper + then on to your background panel on the upper right corner.
-Add the frame to the left-hand side of the card front background panel. Distress the edges of the Till Death Do Us part sentiment strip with the edge of your scissors. Adhere this to the bottom left corner of the card front. Pop up all images as shown.
-Hand cut a skinny strip of black card stock + stick it on the card like it is coming up out of the jar of eyes. Pop up the EYE LOVE YOU sentiment at the stop of this strip.
-Add a spider to the end of a piece of clear thread or fishing line. Tape the opposite end to the back of the card +bend it over to the front.
-Adhere panel to a black A2 card base.
