mixed the Make-It Wild Hearts Stamp Set with the Wavy Lines Stencil to create a festive birthday card that’s perfect for summer celebrations. A little gold, a few florals, and plenty of patriotic vibes make this one shine! ⭐
 
Supplies:
Ranger:
-Make-It Stamp Sets: Wild Hearts, Chic Birthday
-Stencil: Wavy Lines
-Acrylic Stamping Block
-Archival Ink Pad: Jet Black
-Heat It Craft Tool
-Handle It Tool
-Water Brush
-Glossy Accents
-Clear Embossing Powder
Tim Holtz Distress:
-Ink Pads: Uncharted Mariner, Lumberjack Plaid, Lost Shadow, Peeled Paint
-Watercolor Cardstock
Dina Wakley MEdia Glue
Instructions:
-Cut a piece of white cardstock to 4” × 5.25”. Place the Wavy Lines Stencil over the cardstock + ink blend Uncharted Mariner across the upper left corner. Blend Distress Ink Lumberjack Plaid over the remaining stencil openings to complete the background.
-Stamp heart + floral images from Wild Hearts Set onto Watercolor Cardstock using Jet Black Ink. Before inking the stamp, cover the built-in sentiment with a small piece of masking paper. Remove the masking paper before stamping to leave the banner blank for a custom greeting.
-Watercolor stamped images with Distress Ink. Press each ink pad onto your craft mat to create a palette, pick up the color with a water brush. Paint the images.
-Fussy cut all of the stamped images. Cut out the center of the heart to create a frame.
-Cut a heart slightly larger than the opening from vellum + adhere to the back of  heart frame.
-Stamp the “Happy Birthday” sentiment from the onto vellum with Jet Black. Heat emboss with clear embossing powder, then carefully fussy cut the sentiment.
-Attach heart to the card front with small pieces of foam adhesive. Arrange + adhere the flowers around the heart with MEdia glue.
-Apply small dots of Glossy Accents to the back of the vellum sentiment + adhere across the heart banner.
-Adhere several small gold metallic stars around the heart + floral arrangement.
-Mount the completed panel onto a gold mat + adhere to an A2 white card base.

Instructions:
-Color block the journal page with the “rainbow” of paints: Magenta, Tangerine, Lemon, Lime, Sky and Iris. Let dry.
-Spray Sterling Gloss Spray through Pointy Fence stencil to add a little shimmer to the page.
-Using MEdia Glue adhere Painted Elements Chroma Transparencies on color blocks.
-Cut out face images and text from BOLD collage tissue on other color blocks.
-Layer On Their Minds rub-ons onto transparencies and Flutters rub-ons to the background.
-Glue a strip of the BOLD blah blah blah tissue across center of page.
-Cut out a heart shape from a Ledger Journal
-Melt Beeswax using encaustic iron onto the ledger heart. Boths sides and it will become semi-transparent. Let cool
-Make brush marks using the “rainbow” of paint colors.
-Edge heart with black Posca pen. Handwrite Phrase inside heart.
-Highlight phrase and images using a white pen or white Posca 1MR pen
-Splatter page with White Gloss Spray.

This mixed media journal page created was created using products from the Make‑It line, featuring soft stenciled details, ink sprays, and a feminine color palette. The layered design and birthday picture make it perfect for celebrating another year of life. 🎀
 
Supplies:

-Make-It Clear Stamp Set: Chic Birthday
-Make-It Stencil: Bow Lattice
-Archival Ink: Jet Black, Sweet Treat
-Texture Paste Metallic White
-Dylusions Ink Spray: Tropical Sangria, Margarita Bucket
Tim Holtz Distress Paint: Picket Fence
Dylusions Creative Journal Square
Other:
-Printed picture
-Glue

Instructions:
-Spray with Dylusions Ink Spray all over the page, making sure the colors you choose complement each other, so when they mix, they make more pretty colors. Let it dry or help it dry with a heat tool.
-With Picket Fence paint, randomly add to your page and with a spatula. Spread the paint as you wish. For my page I made vertical and horizontal lines and blobs to create texture and bring interest to my page. Let the paint dry or help it dry with your heat tool.
-With the stencil, place it where you want on the page. Spread with a spatula some Metallic White Texture Paste. Repeat this process as many times as you wish. Let the paste dry completely before moving on to the next step.
-Using Jet Black Archival Ink and Sweet Treat, choose some stamps from the stamp set and stamp all over your page. For my page I chose the candles, the bow, hearts and the numbers 1 and 8 to make an 18.
-I printed a picture of my daughter that we took when she turned 18, then cut around it and glued it down on the page where I wanted it. Cut the excess.
-Add more stamps if you wish with different colors. The page is ready.

CRAYONS + STENCILS + A LITTLE LIFT MAGIC = TEXTURE FOR DAYS ✨

Create amazing texture with Distress Crayons and stencils. Watch as creates a mixed media tag by layering Collage Paper, Distress Crayons and lifting through a stencil to add fun texture. Add Distress Paint splatter, postmark stickers muted with Distress Crayons and cello sticker tape for extra dimension and detail. Finish with a fun floral.

Instructions:
-Add Distress Collage Medium to tag
-Tear Collage Paper into pieces
-Add pieces to tag, seal entire tag with more Collage Medium; let dry
-Add color to tag using Distress Crayons
-Blend with fingertips (dampen fingers to help blend); let dry
-Place stencil over tag, lift pigment with a baby wipe (use clean area for each section)
-Add splatter using Black Soot Distress Paint
-Stamp floral image and cut out
-Color in image with Distress Crayons and Detailer Waterbrush; add to tag with foam tape
-Add Postmarked stickers to tag; soften by layering Distress Crayon over top and blend
-Add Cello Sticker tape
-Cut small talk sticker and add to tag
-Add ribbon to top of tag if desired
