Behind the scenes of running a vendor booth…. A lot of people assume running a booth is easy peasy!! love it so much, but it does take a lot of time & work!

Obviously sourcing is the BEST part, but there’s more to it than sourcing. We are always searching, cleaning, fixing, building, moving, or hauling something. I constantly think of ways to try and make the booth better so I’m always changing something up 🙃

Lucky for me, my husband loves the booth and Schoolhouse just as much as me…. But sometimes I work him toooo hard and on those really hot days it often requires a nap 😂

Don’t forget, my booth is 10% off until August 31! I have many items that’ll fall under $1, even under $10, quilts that will be UNDER $20! I have tons of brass, a few butter pats, baskets…you just gotta come and see. Look high, low, and just dig around 🙃

I don’t believe there is a huge market for these, but I have a bunch of different pins in the booth. I know there are some military pins, Girl Scouts, Harley Davidson & there were some others too! They are marked $1 each… maybe some are worth more on an online platform if you’re a reseller.

I love the idea of if you have a mason jar or any kind & you filled it up with little pins & trinkets you’ve collected… lots of ideas & super affordable if you want to check it out here at Schoolhouse ❤️

A beautiful vintage reproduction of Millet’s famous The Angelus, originally painted in 1857–1859.

The scene shows two French peasants pausing from their work in a potato field as the church bells ring in the distance. With heads bowed, they stop for a moment of prayer before returning to their work.

Millet captured something incredibly simple here…faith, hard work, humility, and the quiet rhythm of everyday life.

The original painting is more than 165 years old and hangs in the Musée d’Orsay in Paris. This framed reproduction has developed that wonderfully muted, timeworn appearance that makes the scene feel even more nostalgic.
