Handmade always takes longer than people think…

It's not fast fashion, there isn't a massive factory making a hundred thousand of the same boring piece. It's just me, and pliers, and patience (and sometimes tequilla).

There’s so much that happens before a finished design is ready to leave my studio and head to it's new owner.

From the initial design work, to the planning and creating and finally those little finishing touches that make it something unique and special.

That all takes time, and that time means you get something that makes you feel spectacular when you wear it.

Y'all, the wait is over. My medical leave is officially done, and I'm taking you out on the town this saturday evening as we invade the Toledo Night Market. We'll be strutting up and down the isles, showing the 'normal' folk what stunning, sexy confidence really looks like.

The event is located at the Toledo Farmer's Market at 525, Market Street, and runs 6:30p to 10:30p.

It's going to truly be a fun evening, watching all of your Goddesses and Gods mingling and mixing and causing a stir. And as always, I'll have a couple of brand new pieces that probably will never make it onto the website, so be sure to look for those while you visit!

Did you know that I do custom jewelry designs? And that you can get something that makes a big splash, or a simple yet sexy piece like these earrings?

You don’t have to have something big and expensive in mind to get something unique made just for you.

Like these chainmaille earrings… they were custom made for a member of the SiC community that was looking for something inspired by the le***an flag. She loved the rainbow byzantine earrings, but was looking for something with a little more bite in terms of style.

So we decided to add a little spike dangle that signifies the fight for rights that has happened and continues to happen, and the power that the community has when they stand together and clap back at their oppressors.

I think they turned out to be a vibrant and meaningful statement, don’t you think so?

This is a little personal...

I will be closeing the studio from June 10th through June 28th.

I'll be having a planned surgery and taking the time I need to properly recover.

I want to be honest with you, because that's the kind of relationship I've always strived to keep with the SiC community... This isn't easy for me. Stepping away from work I love, and a community that means so much, is genuinely hard.

But I realize that taking care of myself is important, and what will allow me to keep creating for you, and that matters more. More than just toughing it out indefinetly.

If you've been thinking about placing an order or inquiring about a custom piece (I have one slot left), I would love to hear from you before June 10th. All orders placed before my departure will be fulfilled before I go.

I'll be back on June 29th, rested and ready to make something new, exciting, and sexy to help you claim who you truly have always been.

Thank you for being here. Your support has carried me through hard moments before, and I have no doubt it will again.

I think it’s time met Pointed Grace.

she took weeks to bring to life. She was worth every single second.

Hundreds of links individually hand woven into a complex ancient pattern that flows like silk, but looks like lace. A deep V silhouette that drapes like water across your chest, dry the eye to all the right spots.

Sometimes I make pieces because I know that they will find their perfect person immediately, and sometimes I make pieces from quiet moments in the middle of the night when inspiration strikes like lightning. This was one of those moments, one of those pieces.

And I’ll be honest, I haven’t been able to bring myself to put her up on the website yet. I don’t know, maybe I’m just not ready to let her go. Or maybe she hasn’t found the right person yet.

Either way, she’s meant to be felt just as much as seen.

Right now you can only see her at one of the Serenity in Chains pop-up events, which unfortunately, the last one of the summer is coming up very soon.

I know I said we’d be inside today. But things have changed…

Instead of being at the back of the market, hidden behind a green wall we are hanging out outside behind the lemonade stand! And tbh, I’m not mad.

Even with the breeze it’s been amazing with the sun shining, and lots of people stopping by to find their perfect piece of unique jewelry.

I’ll be here till 4, with some stunning new pieces you’ve never seen before. Like the Dark Devotion earrings with their bat winged framed heart focal and stylish spike details.
