Finished a quilt last week. I called it an Asian Gold quilt. I made this from a class I took at Sonflower Quilts, while they were open. We took our stash, cut strips and then turned those into quilts. I quilted this with a dark gray thread and used the quilting pattern Interlocking Loopy 2.

Today, my granddaughter and I sewed up 2 Hemingway bags. Good thing we have my Singer 15-91 (Ora Bell). She sewed through all the layers of foam, fabric, and zippers with no problem whatsoever.

I'm sewing with friends for the next 3 days. Yesterday, I made 3 bags with a dungeons and dragons theme. I made the collaged fabric from bits of leftover fabric. They're a modified Zippy Strippy Bag from Atkinson Designs. I'll be adding dragon charms to the zipper pulls before they're done.

My granddaughter wanted to make her own school supply bag. So we watched some youtube videos and she picked one out. It's called the "All in One Roll Up Pouch" by Sewing Times. We had a lot of fun picking out coordinating fabric, fold over elastic, zippers, and mesh. The video had the basic steps online with the video. (You definitely needed to have previous bag making experience - I had to add pages of instructions to what was provided). We both finished our bags. Hers is the teal and pink one and mine is the green and yellow one. And our granddaughter's school supplies fit perfectly in hers.

Worked on my Sauder Village quilt shop's block of the month. We're on month 5 now. The patterns are in a book called Strawberry Garden by Fig Tree Quilts. We only had to get one of the bigger blocks done, the rest are bonus blocks. Those bow tie blocks were fun!

And while we were making keychain wallets, I made a bunch for my friends at Bible study.
