Thank you for believing in Leonard and giving him the chance to make history as Ohio’s first pit bull police officer. Your dedication, compassion, and willingness to see potential where others may not have has inspired so many people. Overall, Blizzard is a happy and friendly 5-year-old boy that gets along with other dogs. We are unsure how he would do with cats and kids, as he has not been around them yet. This typical labrador is goofy and will be sure to bring joy to your life. Blizzard’s family should be within 45miles of Toledo, Oh and have a fenced in yard.

Hero is a 2.5‑year‑old Rottweiler with a huge heart and an even bigger love for people. He’s playful, affectionate, and happiest when he’s right by your side with a toy in his mouth.

Hero adores other dogs — sometimes a little too much — and his excitement can come out as big, bouncy energy. With some guidance and continued positive experiences, he’s learning how to channel that big love in calmer ways.

Hero would do best with older kids simply because he sometimes forgets just how big and enthusiastic he is when he’s happy — which is pretty much all the time.

If you’re looking for a loyal shadow who just wants to be part of whatever you’re doing, Hero is your guy!
