I sew little girls' dresses using fabric scraps left over from projects, yard sales, or re-purposed clothing.

All of the little girl's dresses I make are one-of-a-kind. The fabric l use is mostly up-cycled clothing, and yard sale finds. I spent many years sewing clothes for my children, and have always loved putting together different fabrics and patterns to make something unique.

After much thought, I have decided to close down my Etsy Shop, NewVoStitchery. If you have little girls in your life, sizes 2, 4, and 6, take a look. Each unique dress is half-price at $10 each. I will never stop sewing but am now focusing on other projects. Thank you for the support through these years.

I'm getting ready to put some new dresses up on the Etsy site. Got some bright new colors, and will soon be working on a series of patchwork. Spring is springing!

My latest dresses are finally up in my shop! There is something for every little girl, sizes 2, 4, and 6. There are sorta no-nonsense kinda plain. There is lace. A rainbow of colors. And some perfect for the holidays coming up. During the winter months a turtleneck and leggings will fit underneath. Take a look and let me know what you think.

Back in November, I had a critical medical situation, forcing me to cancel everything I was involved in. With that and in the subsequent Covid-19 stay-at-home, you would think that I would have sewed up a storm. I had time yes, but energy no. I have recently made my way back to my sewing machine and am once again making little girl dresses. Sizes are 2, 4, and 6, and all made from upcycled clothing or fabric I purchased at yard/garage/tag sales or was given to me by quilters cleaning out their stash.
Look at these beauties I just finished!! They are not yet up in my Etsy shop, but will be soon along with others.

I'm spending this July 4th weekend at the Lincoln Co Fair. I've stitched up a lot more dresses that are not on my Etsy site. We just spent a couple of weeks with our beautiful little granddaughter Marysyn. Cute dress, huh?

I received a box of fabric pieces from someone cleaning out their quilting cupboard - SCORE!!! The sewing machine has been busy as I've been mixing and matching, designing, and getting new dresses cut out and stitched up. I've added several to my Etsy site.
