A huge congratulations to BRAELYN COUSINO and RANSOM ZENTGRAF for earning 2ND PLACE in the NATION in Children’s Literature K-3 at the 2026 Educators Rising National Conference!
As future art teachers, Braelyn and Ransom combined their talents to write and illustrate a children’s book, not just this year, but last year too! This is their second straight year qualifying for Nationals in this event.
Last year, they placed 10th in the nation. This year, they took things to a whole new level and brought home a 2nd-place national finish!!!!!!!!!!
We’ve watched them spend hours brainstorming ideas, creating illustrations, making revisions, and bringing their story to life. Seeing all of that hard work pay off is so exciting. We are SO PROUD of your accomplishments!
