Every bride wishes she knew these five tips before her first appointment.💍

1. Do not let sizing discourage you. Bridal sizing is completely different from everyday clothing and every dress is altered specifically to fit your body. The number on the tag means nothing. The way it makes you feel means everything.

2. Bring only the people who are truly there for you. The ones who will celebrate every dress you try on, lift you up when you are unsure, and trust that when you know you know.

3. The dress you never imagined trying on is often the one you cannot imagine leaving without. Keep an open mind and let your stylist surprise you.

4. Move around in your dress before you say yes. Sit down. Spin. Dance a little. A dress that feels perfect standing still needs to feel just as perfect sitting at dinner and dancing the night away.

5. Keep your venue and the overall feeling of your wedding day in mind as you try on dresses. The gown that feels most like you in that setting is the one that will feel intentional and unforgettable when the day comes.
